Artist Statement

My work explores the relationship between nature and the human eye.

With influences as diverse as A.Y Jackson (Group 7) to Albert Uderz (Asterix), I endeavour to blend naturalistic elements using a color palette that evokes dense earth, light and movement.

My aim is to capture the energy and the character of the environment that I'm painting.

In this current time that we are living in, I believe it's important to have a connection with nature and an awareness as humans of how we are treating nature.
